Gdansk (Danzig) Polish city till 1793, after collapse of Poland Danzig was part of Prussia/Germany 1793-1807 and 1815-1920. The Free City of Danzig was established in 1920 and was incorporated into Germany in 1939. After the Second World War from 1945 in Poland.
