Wales paper money catalog and Walsh currency history

Private issue of promissory notes (pay the bearer on demand) by Welsh nationalist Richard Williams as a "Chief Treasury of Wales Limited" (Prif Trysorfa Cymru Limited) and the "Black Sheep Bank". To be legal instruments, some notes had to 2 penny duty stamp from the Board of Inland Revenue. Most notes were sold as souvenirs in form of cancelled and specimen notes, rather than as redeemable banknotes.
