Central African States banknotes
Central African States paper money catalog and CAS currency history

Monetary union from 1974 in Central Africa of Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon and Chad (former name Equatorial African States, 1960-1974), joined by Equatorial Guinea (Spanish colony till 1968) in 1984. From 1993, country of issue is identified by the printed code letter (year of issue appears in 2 digits of the serial number):
