Herm Island is a British Dependency (population about 60), one of the English Channel Islands in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Local private coupon-note was issued in 1958 by Mr. & Mrs. Stanton.

A brief monetary history:
- British currency
- Pound = 20 Shillings = 240 Pence, till 1971
- Pound = 100 pence, from 1971
